Hey! Thanks for visiting!

Shipping is free for purchases over $50 within the continental United States.  shipping_painting-0_1.jpg

My aim is your joy. Not just for a day, but for a lifetime of use. Nothing makes me happier than your happiness, except making the piece itself. But please know that pottery has its idiosyncrasies. I don't aim to mass produce or sell at either Walmart or Neiman Marcus.  Each piece is created through its own private process and imperfections are part of that process.

Commissions: I used to say no to commissions.... But then a couple friends asked for specific pottery (a casserole, butter dishes) and I realized that I found the process extremely rewarding. So reach out if you have something special in mind. I would love to hear what you like, why you like it. We can explore if there's a fit. If so, I'll keep you posted on the process. Pretty fun for both of us!

Shipping: Your pottery will be hand-packed (with generous cushioning), insured, and delivered via UPS or the US Postal Service. Overnight shipping is available only through direct inquiry and at an extra charge. If something bad happens during shipping I won't be able to reproduce your piece. It is from my hand to yours, and that ends the production line. You will get a full refund with proof of damage. Please send photographs of the damaged piece inside its shipping box. Include images of all shipping labels, packaging and the damaged work as well as the circle on the box's base.

The Environment:   I care.  All shipping materials are up-cycled. Boxes, bubble wrap, and paper is making a second or third round. Boxes at the end of life are either recycled or head to our hugelkulture mounds where they are composted and used as mulch for our orchard and berry beds.

Tissue and gift bags (if you request them) are new but made of recycled paper.

Guarantee: Should your piece show a flaw during the first six months of use, be in touch. In very rare cases vagaries of the kiln or of a batch of clay can lead to problems. All work is tested before it is shipped. But of course I'll want to know if you aren't satisfied and will do my level best to make it right.

Please know: I will never share, sell or otherwise mutilate your email!
That would be nasty. And it is not going to happen.

              * Yep, you read that right. It's BRID.port not Bridgeport. Bridport, Vermont has no "g" and no companion town in the U.S. (though there is a Bridport, England). And for those of us with dyslexia, sometimes I write Birdport (which I rather like!).
