My aim is your joy. Not just for a day, but for a lifetime of use. Nothing makes me happier than your happiness, except making the piece itself. But please know that pottery has its idiosyncrasies.  Each piece is created through its own private process and imperfections are part of that process.  Measurements noted on this site are approximate, so don't hold me to the quarter inch!

Shipping: Your pottery will be hand-packed, insured, and delivered via UPS or the US Postal Service.
Expedited Shipping is available only through direct inquiry and at an extra charge.
Damage: If something bad happens during shipping I won't be able to reproduce your piece. It is from my hand to yours, and that ends the production line. You will get a full refund with proof of damage. Please send photographs of the piece inside its shipping box. Include images of all shipping labels, packaging and the damaged work as well as the circle on the box's base.

The Environment:
I care.  Most shipping materials are up-cycled. Boxes, bubble wrap, and paper is making a second or third round. Boxes at the end of life are either recycled or head to our hugelkulture mounds where they are composted and used as mulch for our orchard and berry beds. The Bridport Hill studio is solar powered. Final firings are done to cone 10 in a natural gas kiln.

Tissue and gift bags (if you request them) are new but made of recycled paper.

Guarantee: Should your piece show a flaw during the first six months of use, be in touch. In very rare cases vagaries of the kiln or of a batch of clay can lead to problems. Of course I'll want to know! And the fact is, if you aren't satisfied I will do my level best to make it right.

Please know: I will never share, sell or otherwise mutilate your email!
That would be nasty. And it is not going to happen.
